A.C.A.P.P. Charities Membership consists of clergy and leaders from local churches, mosques and other places of worship.
- Each candidate must complete the training provided by the Arlington Police Department.
- Each candidate must complete the required form and pass a personal background check by the Arlington Police Department.
- Each candidate must be a member in good standing at their place of worship in order to receive a volunteer badge. The badge must be renewed annually.
- Each candidate must have a letter of recommendation from a senior leader at their place of worship.
- Each member must attend a minimum of 7 meetings per year.
- Each member is expected to participate in various community activities that the organization supports.
- Each member is expected to participate in 2 ride outs during the year or take advantage of other relational opportunities like attendance at shift briefings during the year.
- Each member should log their volunteer hours to the city on a montly basis.
- Each member will maintain a $25.00 membership commitment due at the first meeting in January for that year.
- Members should be in good standing according to the requirements above to vote at the annual meeting.
